In addition to MVV Energie, the shareholders in the Mannheim-based energy trading company "MVV Trading GmbH" include Stadtwerke Kiel and Energieversorgung Offenbach, as well as Stadtwerke Solingen and Stadtwerke Ingolstadt.

Moreover, MVV Energie also holds the remaining 3.9 percent of the shares in a fiduciary capacity in order to enable further interested energy companies to acquire a share in the company. The company pools the trading competencies available within the Group and provides the Group with a uniform presence on the electricity and gas wholesale markets.
